Perhaps the values associated with this question of online versus offline/analog are as clear as when people are asked about their personal preference for conventional medicine versus naturopathy: Many have a clear tendency to choose between their family doctor or a naturopathic practitioner when experiencing a symptom. And then there are surprising situations where it's crystal clear that one might opt for the exact opposite of their usual values. For example, in the case of a ruptured appendix, when one has to go to the hospital… or when someone has exhausted all conventional medical treatment options and tries naturopathic medicine for the first time.
It is always worthwhile to have clear values while remaining mentally open and flexible to helpful opportunities.
The same applies to online and offline. That's why SONQO offers both formats, but deliberately for different purposes.
One Cacao Ceremony A multi-hour individual process can certainly be conducted online with a single person. However, a Cacao Ceremony in a group setting requires physical presence to work shamanically with voices and scents.
One Online Cacao Celebration However, more and more work teams or groups of friends who work or live far apart are appreciating this. It's a wonderful way to create a fulfilling, heartfelt connection even across distances.

Even before the pandemic and the huge Zoom wave, the SONQO team often preferred, 1:1 mentoring Offering online sessions is advantageous because they generally allow for a very clear focus and much more direct work with the subconscious. Furthermore, the entire body usually needs rest afterward, not a commute home on crowded trains or through hectic traffic. Online sessions offer the opportunity to rest for a while during breaks or immediately after the meeting. Tibetan yoga Lu Jong works better in person with individual instruction: it allows for more precise work with the body. However, it is very well suited for online group practice.
At Meditations On the other hand, it's wonderful that we can be internationally connected through online live streams. However, the connection with fellow practitioners, the sensory experience of nature and the location itself, brings forth a truly special quality.
Warmest regards, Ángel & Aline and the SONQO team
