RECIPE for DAILY CACAO: The effects of Pachamama Cacao are most intense at sunrise. Cacao can also be enjoyed during the day. SONQO recommends drinking 1-2 cups of warm water beforehand.
Heat a cup of water (250-300 ml) in a pan, then remove the pan from the heat and add 2 tablespoons (approx. 20 g) of Pachamama Cacao. Stir with a wooden spoon until the cacao melts and thickens.
Depending on your mood, you can enhance your Pachamama Cacao with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, date juice or Birnell.
CACAO PROVIDES ABOVE ALL A LOT OF IRON, MAGNESIUM, CALCIUM, VITAMINS, FLAVONOLS (antioxidant), THEOBROMIN (stimulating) AND TRYPOPHAN (neurotransmitter), WHICH IN COMBINATION FORMS SEROTONIN AND THUS HAPPY HORMONES.
STORAGE: Pachamama Cacao prefers room temperature.
Store at 18-20 degrees Celsius with fresh air. For daily use, crush a bar and store it in a glass jar with a cork lid or in the provided cardboard box. This way you can conveniently help yourself every morning.
ATTENTION: SONQO uses hot spices such as chili or ginger exclusively for ceremonies (not for Daily Cacao or Cacao Celebrations) when a ritual involves movement (dance and/or breathwork) under mindful guidance and accompaniment.
Milk : SONQO recommends not preparing cacao with milk (including plant-based milk). Why? – You'll find out in the SONQO CACAO COURSE. Indigenous peoples have always enjoyed cacao pure with water.
The golden mean between right and wrong is bold enjoyment.
Morning ritual: Sip your PACHAMAMA CACAO in a mindful way, because when you're stressed, for example, your heart opens into stress. When you're angry, it opens into resentment. So take the necessary time and create a constructive moment for opening your heart.
An open heart likes things simple and easy.
A cup of Pachamama Cacao in the morning is usually enough to keep you going until lunchtime. If you do feel hungry or have a craving for something sweet, we recommend dates, fruit, berries, nuts, or cacao nibs, as well as three cacao beans . Be sure to drink plenty of water, herbal tea, or fruit juice.
CACAO BELONGS TO THE GENUS THEOBROMA (GREEK: FOOD OF THE GODS) AND TO THE MALLOW FAMILY.
Through the SONQO CACAO COURSE I understood the difference between a Cacao Ceremony and a Cacao Celebration: I love both formats!
