THE SPIRITUAL YOO EFFECT

The year is gaining momentum, and it is slowly becoming apparent that some people have already lost focus on things they planned for this year. 

In the Cacao Ceremony, we always begin by remembering our birthplace. Why? Because this place was full of possibilities and still free from worldly expectations. This was the moment when, with the YES TO LIFE, the red carpet of our own lives began to unfurl. And this YES at the beginning of our lives is holistic. It affirms our entire existence with physical awareness, with everything unconscious, and also the vast subconscious.

If spiritual practices are tied to the expectation of generating a better world, in turn to the expectation of becoming a better person afterward, then one simultaneously creates a bad world or a bad person. However, if we let go of all forms of escalation, comparisons, and duality, then we actively choose to focus on holistic existence in the here and now.

Why can't we simply practice to experience ourselves holistically again, just as we did at the moment of our birth?

Even a New Year's resolution, a decision for a new career, or a new relationship – how can this step succeed without expectations, in simply being present with the holistic experience?

And so we look forward to sharing moments together, to sharing exactly these kinds of expectation-free spaces of holistic experience with you here at SONQO.
