This distinction is important

The heart is unconditional. It naturally opens and expands every focus one adopts in the mind. And because of the heart's unconditional nature, people repeatedly mistake egocentric concerns for matters of the heart. But how does one recognize what truly matters of the heart?
There are various characteristics of the often very subtle difference between selfish actions (strategic reasoning) and intuition (common sense):
Physically, one notices, among other things, how breathing becomes faster and shallower when the strategic mind takes over. The skin (sweating or rashes), joints, and organs can also react with abnormalities and show symptoms because, in the mind, individual body parts are perceived as separate from the bodily sensation of wholeness. Energy tends to be concentrated in the head. Mentally, there is a weak focus or an overly ambitious, goal-oriented mindset. On a subtle level, we can perceive that pressure, efficiency, and impulsiveness are at play. The strategic mind always operates as REACTION He reacts to the outside world with stored memories or conditioned expectations. His strategic mind is constantly preoccupied with what he wants or doesn't want in order to feel comfortable.
Common sense doesn't necessarily crave comfort, for it loves adventure. If we allow common sense to guide us, we experience a feeling of serenity and inner peace; we savor or celebrate the moment. Another characteristic is that time seems to exist in abundance, like a timeless existence, like eternity. Common sense knows no lack of time. ACTS from the abundance of deep primal trust.
This does sound somewhat romanticized, because abundance is by no means a state of blissful bliss! In abundance, nothing is excluded, and so we encounter an incredible amount of (intrinsic) dynamism and wildness. But when we learn to think and feel in natural cycles and cycles, we can increasingly perceive ourselves as part of this immense abundance.
This is the experience currently being enjoyed by the SONQO travel group, who are with Ángel on the Rio del Madre in the Peruvian jungle, learning from the spirit of the animals, plants, and rainforest. Incidentally, another group is heading there on September 24, 2023 – will you be joining them? HERE You can find information here.
The non-profit project «PACHAMAMA CACAO SYNTROPICO PERU» by SONQO also serves to help cacao farming families learn to interact with the original dynamics and wildness of the jungle in a trusting and sustainable way, thus fully exploiting the potential of this abundance for the quality of their products. By the way, a shipment of Pachamama Cacao has just arrived in Switzerland 🙂 And there's maca again, as well as a new 28g CACAO LOVE BUTTER for sensual body care, intimacy, or even for cooking. And to place your cacao order... HERE long.
With full and joyful hearts, we greet you – Angel & Aline with the SONQO team
