August 8th was the much-discussed Leo portal, and August 16th was the new moon in Leo. But these two days weren't the only powerful ones. The entire month of August is an invitation to bravely and resolutely step through the so-called Leo portal between the full moon of August 1st and the second full moon on August 31st. Are you ready for the August portal? What does this gateway open for us?

Once upon a time, people believed in a two-dimensional world. They thought the Earth was a flat disc. Those who spoke of a three-dimensional world as a sphere were condemned as madmen and heretics. The first to embrace this two-dimensional view justified it with the image of ships sailing across the sea towards the horizon falling off the disc. The interesting thing about this argument is that their fearful image also described a three-dimensional world. In their fearful imagination, one could fall off the two-dimensional disc – so the mental space behind their lived reality was already three-dimensional.

FEAR announces to the mind an unexplored dimension, which the heart has long known.

There are many different qualities and intensities of fear. The crucial question with fear, however, is always: Do I invest time in the fear-filled dramas of the mind, or do I follow the wisdom of the heart, which constantly leads me to explore new territory?

Fear can be paralyzing when a person clings to the old and outdated, until the moment they decide to... HEALING means letting go of outdated images and mentally opening oneself to the current "new territory." Then fears become future-oriented and a CELEBRATION: The person begins to embrace the new territory long promised by their heart, also in the external world. MANI-FEST – Celebrate life!

Currently, we are all not only facing an individual opening into uncharted territory, but people worldwide feel that their hearts have been announcing a departure into something cognitively unimaginable for some time now.

FESTIVAL OF GRATITUDE

Lake Constance is considered the heart of Europe. On August 1st, SONQO celebrated International Pachamama Day on the Green Dam by Lake Constance. Pachamama Raymi is the Peruvian festival of gratitude. The thanks are given to the earth goddess of fertility and femininity.

Celebrating, sleeping and enjoying under the open sky: Many of us slept outdoors without a tent, just in our sleeping bags, for the first time in a long while at Pachamama Raymi. We trusted the assembled group, the forces of nature, and Raymi itself, and it was from this fundamental trust that we faced the extremely unstable weather. Fear of losing our comfort zone would have prompted us to retreat to a rented scout hut early on.

United in (gentle) courage, we were able to fulfill our planned vision and experience great joy together outdoors under the open sky. We are so delighted by the numerous positive responses. We will always cherish these memories. A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who was there, who contributed, and also to all those who celebrated with us in spirit from afar.

What does SONQO's blissful Raymi experience have to do with the collective Lions portal in August 2023?

According to astrology, we are currently under the sign of Leo. Fittingly, given the prevailing astrological climate, a lion is said to have recently escaped from the Berlin Zoo. This lion generated a lot of media hype about nothing, as it soon turned out to be a wild boar. Similarly, people and situations that have long and successfully tried to appear heroic and imposing "lions" can now suddenly reveal themselves as true "pigs" in this collective space. Manipulation, cheap seduction, and trickery are now being exposed like exploding rockets in the sky of a national holiday.

Many people are now learning to let go of their masked, manipulative lion's play and to show their vulnerability in their own truth. However, there are still enough self-absorbed individuals clinging to egocentric heroism, manipulating, seducing, and deceiving even more skillfully and subtly to maintain the old facade. With these hypocritical actions, they are merely trying to satisfy their lion's hunger for affection, prestige, and attention, because they have forgotten that we are all children of God (God in the sense of a greater whole) and not merely its partners. As partners of God (a counterpart to the greater whole), we would place ourselves on the same level while simultaneously separating ourselves from it, becoming a counterpart. As children of God (as equal members of the infinitely many members of the greater whole), we are one human family – one unity.

LIFE IS THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION OF HOW I HUMBLELY TAKEN MY UNIQUELY DESTINED PLACE WITHIN COSMOLOGICAL UNITY.

The August portal calls upon us all not only to be connected to our own hearts, nor to listen only to our own hearts. The gate opens collectively so that we may now definitively risk our individual importance and cognitive identity in order to step, united in heart, into new communal territory, within the natural cycles of RECEIVING & GIVING, and to celebrate life for the common good.

It sounds so cheesy, terribly peaceful, and almost too good to be true. But be prepared: the current collective portal is a real test of skill!

The manipulative lions are disguising their games in politics, business, and everyday life in ever more skillful ways, and if necessary, with adept double masking: How can you recognize these manipulative double masks in everyday life? Are there any concrete clues?

REMEMBER

Read the signs of manipulative behavior as neutrally as a scanner reads a page without any preconceived notions. Try not to judge. In judging, we evaluate the person, but it's not actually the person and their nature, but rather a specific behavior that makes us pause. Stay connected to the person's heart, yet recognize their current behavior. Then make decisions based on that immediate behavior.

There are numerous characteristics of masked manipulation. Here are a few examples:

MORE APPEARANCE THAN REALITY
– Great words without corresponding action.
– Humor or compliments that subtly distract from current issues, leaving one feeling unheard.

EFFICIENT CONNECTIONS
– Someone says they are sending you love or the person gives you brief attention, but actually only with the expectation that you will be nice or give nice feedback.

MANIPULATIVE SEDUCTION
– For example, if offers have arbitrarily high prices and these are presented enticingly in so-called angel numbers (222.- / 333.- / 444.- / 8888.- etc.)
– When we talk about a vision whose manifestation still caters to egocentric prestige images of material possessions and financial wealth.

And you might now be wondering what all this has to do with the Peruvian PACHAMAMA RAYMI by SONQO on August 1st, the festival of gratitude and femininity?

Peruvian culture calls a woman with deceitful, self-centered, and destructive energy a "bruja." How does one deal with these "falsely masked lions" and their manipulative strategies? What constructive steps can be taken when destructive feminine forces are at play?

IMPORTANT: Bruja forces are not only found in the behavior of women. Unconscious and therefore destructive feminine energy is potentially present in all people and all sentient beings.

EARTH – DEVOTION TO EXISTENCE IN THE WORLD
Connecting with situations and people who let go of self-centered goals and, in humility to the earth goddess PACHAMAMA, live their full devotion to the common good.

WIND – APPRECIATE VULNERABILITY
Creating a safe space for our individual vulnerability. Letting go of competence and knowledge. Opening this safe space to previously suppressed or blocked emotions. This is what the Cacao Ceremony at Pachamama Raymi makes possible.

FIRE – BEING COMPASSIONATE
Spending time with people who don't leave behind "emotional baggage," but instead create shared experiences to cultivate the unifying feeling of gratitude. Just like at Pachamama Raymi, we all worked together to first clean up the nature at the Green Dam and create a harmonious space for our Ceremony of Gratitude.

WATER – CREATIVE POWER LIFE
Love doesn't generate one-sided gain, but rather integrative cycles: Practicing Munay (unconditional love) means not only inhaling air, but also love – and not only exhaling air, but giving love. Giving love unconditionally to all human souls and all sentient souls in the entire cosmos; this has nothing to do with saccharine romance, but is the most consistent thing a person can do, namely to let immense love flow freely – as at Pachamama Raymi early in the morning at 5 a.m. in Munay meditation, gazing into the infinite expanse of the lake.

PORTAL = COLLECTIVE PATH

The challenging LION PORTAL is not a destination, a place, or a gateway to paradise, but simply a path we walk individually and collectively. Where the heart is present, steps can be taken.

If a destructive connection can be transformed, then be relentlessly committed to the manifestation of the common good. However, if change is not foreseeable, if arrogance, jealousy, or feelings of inferiority come to the fore, then stand all the more strongly for yourself and your own heart, let go of these destructive situations and connections for a moment, let them mentally subside, at least for a few moments, to a complete standstill – be in silence – breathe and enjoy the silence – consciously breathe both the fullness and the emptiness of the breath. In the silence, you risk everything (the loss of your familiar external world) to gain everything, namely:

To be present again as a uniquely courageous being in the HERE and to act compassionately with yourself in the NOW.
