What is "Runa"?

In Quechua, the ancient Inca language, Runa means "the spirit of balance between humans and nature". Nature is not experienced as an objective world, but as manifestations of sentient beings.

What happens in the Runa workshop?

In the SONQO INCA WORKSHOP, you will practice the RUNA RITUALS in the tradition of the Maestros of the renowned Apaza family. The transmission of their ancestors is direct and authentic. Their wisdom is not only for Western healers – they generously make it available to all who are interested in pursuing self-healing and desire a fulfilling life in harmony with the forces of the universe and in connection with the cosmos.

You will learn rituals and practices for self-healing and healing others, commonly referred to as shamanism in the Western world. In Peru, they are a natural part of everyday life and an expression of a way of life generally known as Allin Kausay. In the families and communities of the Paqos, people support each other in repeatedly returning to harmony with nature. To this end, they practice the Paqo Path with the famous Karpay Initiations.

The Paqos will practice the YELLOW PATH with you, which represents the light and wisdom of the cosmos. This path is guided by universal order: you will learn from the principle "Ayni", which represents the interconnectedness of all things and beings. Equally important is the principle "Yanantin Masintin", which represents the duality and polarity of contradictory and complementary forces. Both principles are integrated into natural cycles that only respect the rhythms of the earth when in harmony with each other.
